5 Sizzling Songs To Spice Up Your Night

Vinyl

We can’t deny the countless songs released over the years that still have us blushing in the first ten seconds of hearing them. Many genres ranging from the steamy blues, to wild rock, and sexy R&B give us plenty of choices to choose from that will set a different mood each time you’re ready for some nice loving. Let’s get it on with our top 5 sizzling songs to spice up your night!

5. Sade - The Sweetest Taboo

Sade Adu

You just can’t go wrong with Sade if you’re looking to set the mood with this seductive, sophisticated groove. The song starts off with the sound of rain in the background, which makes it even more sexy! For some reason, hearing drops of rain hitting the ground along with a little thunder can heighten the sexual experience. With it’s mesmerizing melodies and rhythm, along with sensual lyrics, it’s no wonder this song has become such a classic.

“There's a quiet storm

And it never felt this hot before

Giving me something that's taboo”

4. Art Of Noise - Moments In Love

Art Of Noise

Ah… Moments In Love. This is one that just couldn’t be left out of the list. It’s an obvious choice! All ten minutes and fifteen seconds (yes, I recommend the album version) of this intoxicating song is progressively embroidered with hypnotic sounds. This song clearly was made for nights of passionate lovemaking. If you play it loud enough, it wouldn’t take long for the neighbors to realize what’s going on.

3. Nine Inch Nails - Closer

Trent Reznor

What’s a sex playlist without Nine Inch Nail’s “Closer”? You would think that a song with lines that go “I want to f**k you like an animal. I want to feel you from the inside.” would be enough to convince anyone to add this to their “bedroom tunes” mix. Surprisingly, the song isn’t that black and white. According to Trent Reznor, frontman of Nine Inch Nails, the idea of the song was meditation on self-hatred as opposed to the misinterpreted seemingly raunchy chorus. Because of that, this song became an instant hit and primal sex anthem, making its way to many parties, strip clubs, and bedrooms.

2. Ike & Tina Turner - I’ve Been Loving You Too Long

Ike & Tina Turner

If you’re wanting some of that good ol’ sweet & slow loving, this is indeed the song to get down to! Ike & Tina won me over with their cover of Otis Redding’s soulful ballad, “I’ve Been Loving You Too Long”. Tina’s vocals are emotionally rich as she sings the lyrics “Ooh, I've been loving you that much too long. Please don't make me stop now.” What also makes this version brilliant is the interaction between Ike & Tina towards the end with Tina repeating after Ike:

“You can make me do anything

You want me to do

And I, I'll even say anything

You want me to say

'Bout anything you want me to about you

If you, if you just stay and make

And make love to me…”

Tina even teases us with a little moaning followed by strong cries of “oh baby!” at the end.

You don’t want to miss this live performance. Watch as Tina suggestively caresses the microphone. That looks familiar…

1. Janet Jackson - Any Time, Any Place

Janet Jackson

Last, but definitely not least… we have Janet. Miss Jackson if ya nasty! I could not resist. There is no resisting the queen of baby-making music! I can only imagine the number of babies that were conceived while this song was playing. As the song title suggests, Janet lets her lover know that she is down for some lovemaking anytime... and anyplace. This side of Janet, however, has been explored even before the 1993 album, Janet. with Funny How Time Flies (Control album 1986) and Someday Is Tonight (Rhythm Nation 1814 album 1989). Aside from her socially conscious and light feel-good songs, Janet has never been a stranger to making tunes for the bedroom.
